Last month we were in rural Pennsylvania, nestled in the shade of a chokecherry tree and looking at the work of Magdalena Briner Eby. Matisse's flattened forms and decorative patterning make his work, and his energy, very transferable to the hooking/ punching medium.
Do you like jigsaw pieces in riotous color and layers of floral textiles piled up on red rooms, overgrown with potted jungle plants? Do you like pina coladas, and getting caught in the rain (kidding) then escape with me Sunday May 23rd, 6-8pm and let's get designing. You will receive a email attachment with shapes and notes for the class. Nothing comes in the mail; just print before class and you'll be ready to create one-of-a-kind pattern designs that will transport you to the Riviera!
