This pattern was designed as a simple beginners kit for people who wanted to learn to start hooking primitive style - which means using wide cut strips of material. I planned this piece thinking about the kind of art, posters and decoration I had around me in the 1980's whilst I was growing up. The colors are very 80's revolving around Wedgwood blue and sage green colors that were really familiar to all of us at that moment in time.
