'Counting Sheep' is an adventure 'yard-long' in which you can practice your traditional primitive hooking skills plus experiment with hooking with wool roving.
This piece features the mellow colors of a late Autumn landscape, and also includes thirteen different colored puffs of wool roving to complete the thirteen sheep in the composition- to create a rainbow flock of sheep upon which you can count your blessings!
Hooking with roving works the same way as hooking with any other material. You peel away fiber lie you're eating cotton candy - and hook it the same way, The high lustre and color saturation is satisfying and exciting to work with and will appeal to the textile artist in you!
The Pattern is 36" by 11" and the kit comes with #8 cut wool and roving.
