This month I had to eliminate fireworks as a design theme because of all the crazy news, and I wanted to do something patriotic but not political. I went with this Bremen Musicians inspired stacked animal design that I hope conveys a message of unity and coming together.
I was playing with summery Lily Pulitzer colors and settled on these hand-dyed Dorr wools, tie dyes for background and candy brights for the big banner. The flags are meant to look mellow and aged in old rose and ivory.
This is a 10" square pattern on Monk's cloth and comes with wool strips #5 to complete this pattern. I will be including a color card of the pattern and a color key as well.
